1975 Rickman Honda Cafe Racer (Rickman "CR"), 811cc

$5,800

Rickman CR complete rolling chassis with totally rebuilt high performance
Honda 750 SOHC motor. Hand-built nickel frame is in original condition
(mostly clean with partial areas where lacquer has worn) with original
(brand-name) spoke wheels. Currently fitted with original bullet nose CR
fairing, clip-on handlebars, and two-up seating with large tank (steel, with
fiberglass cover) as provided in the rare 'one plus one' configuration. This
was the preferred setup. The larger one-plus-one fairing is also provided
(sans windscreen), as is the original long fiberglass tank and solo seat.

The Honda 750-4 SOHC motor was completely rebuilt from the ground up after the bike was
acquired and was never raced. It has only a few thousand miles since the rebuild. It runs extremely well and strong, with an estimated 100 HP.
It features Weisco high compression 811 piston kit, high tensile alloy rods,
Andrews 'D' grind' cam, Barnett clutch, 29mm Mikuni Smoothbore carbs with
K&N filters, and Yoshimura racing internal parts (primary and cam chains,
etc.). A model 'K' head was fitted to the black 'F' block to
increase compression ratio and maintain the strength of the larger valve
stems. It was hand ported and polished and fitted with bronze bushings and
racing duty springs and keepers.

The exhaust is a 'Triple A' header with Bassani pipe with a competition
Kerker baffle. It works well, sounds great, although it is kind of funky and
needs cleaning up or replacing with a complete new system of your choosing.

The body work is also funky, and will need new paint and minor fixing if you
want to clean it up or restore it to original Café Racer condition.

The Rickman 42mm forks, Gherling shocks, and Lockheed single disc brakes are
original. The foot peg rubber is gone and should be replaced with foot pegs
of your liking. This is an excellent opportunity to get a great vintage road
racing machine with a serious motor for fun, racing, or restoration.
